local artist spotlight: elizabeth harris

We’re thrilled to share our third installation at the 12Stairs Gallery with a new body of work by local artist, Elizabeth Harris. This creative show is in collaboration with Anna Schindelar as curator. All of the work is available for purchase in the shop!

Elizabeth Harris works with molten beeswax mixed with resin, graphite, and marble dust to create encaustic works that explore scientific themes. This particular body of work focuses on exploring quantum physics. Elizabeth’s goal is to suggest a sense of deep illuminated space by fusing the acts of painting and drawing into beautifully layered surfaces.

Elizabeth’s work will be up thru the holidays, so be sure to stop by and see her creative show. For additional information or pricing, feel free to give us a call, send us an e-mail, or stop in the shop. We hope to see you soon!
