Twelve Chairs | Meet The Team

co-founder and creative director

Miggy moved to Boston in 2010 to start Twelve Chairs with her Cornell friend and classmate, Roisin, after stints in Paris, New York and Seattle. Influenced by her mother and grandmother, an appreciation for the arts and design was instilled in Miggy at an early age. Her career in residential interiors was preceded by work in sustainability, historic preservation, and operations. She currently resides in Jamaica Plain with her husband and 2 little boys. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading and exploring the history and beauty of New England.
co-founder and creative director

Roisin recognized her passion for interior design at the age of 16 and never looked back. After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Interior Design, Roisin returned home to her native Boston to join the design team at Elkus Manfredi Architects. In 2009, Roisin was committed to go out on her own and after a year and half of planning  she along with her college friend, Miggy, launched Twelve Chairs. When not designing for clients, Roisin can be found renovating the 90 year old home in Cohasset she shares with her husband and toddler son.
